Bessemer Critical Repair Program
Navigate Affordable Housing Partners on behalf of the City of Bessemer, Alabama, is accepting bids from General Contractors and Licensed Home Builders to provide residential repair services for the 2026 Emergency Housing Repair Program. The program supports lowincome homeowners in Bessemer by addressing urgent repair needs that help protect resident safety and preserve housing conditions.
Interested contractors should review the provided Repair Scope, understand the project requirements, and familiarize themselves with the property before submitting a bid.
Use the links below to access the Property-Specific Scope of Work for each project. Contractors may bid on one or more projects by selecting the corresponding house address link. Navigate anticipates renovation work will begin around mid-August.

All responses are due on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 4:00PM. Forms received after this date and time will not be accepted.
Site Visit Contact

Evaluation Criteria
Navigate will evaluate responses based on a contractor’s Bid submission. Navigate anticipates choosing a General Contractor or Licensed Home Builder for each Project which, in Navigate’s sole opinion, is the best qualified and will best serve the interests of the Project.
